WHAT IS THAI TRADITIONAL MASSAGE
Thai massage or Thai yoga massage is a traditional healing system combining acupressure and yoga with stretching, Traditional Thai massage does not use oil, and it is not based on rubbing your skin. Clients remain fully clothed during a session, Thai massage can be both relaxing and energizing.
WHAT IS INCLUDED IN A THAI TRADITIONAL MASSAGE?
During the Traditional Thai massage, you will be pulled, stretched, and rocked. The massage therapist will use thumbs, elbows, knees, and foot, or might even walk on you. This approach is completely different from Western massage styles that use oil.
HOW DOES THAI MASSAGE WORK?
Thai massage works on the meridian or energy lines within the body. When you become tense or are suffering from a continuous dull pain the body's, energy flow can be restricted or even blocked. Thai massage works to restore the flow bringing harmony and balance to the body.
DOES THAI TRADITIONAL MASSAGE USE OIL?
Traditional Thai massage does not use oil, it is typically performed on a floor mat enabling the practitioner to use their thumbs, elbows, knees, feet, and body weight to apply pressure. Traditional Thai massage also incorporates many movements and stretches, and the client remains fully clothed.
IS A THAI TRADITIONAL MASSAGE SUPPOSED TO HURT?
Thai massages can feel a little uncomfortable at first but should not be a painful experience, usually the massage therapist will make it more or less intense depending on how tight the muscles are.
WHAT TO WEAR FOR OIL MASSAGE
For oil massages, you will keep your underwear on and be covered by a towel. It is important to note that we will not allow naked massage.
HOW SHOULD I PREPARE FOR MY FIRST TREATMENT?
Avoid eating a heavy meal or drinking a large amount of liquid before the treatment because massage requires pressure and movement, which can be uncomfortable if your stomach is full. If you need to eat before the treatment it should be a light meal at least 1 hour before arriving and do not drink alcohol before your massage.
The massage therapists will typically refuse to work with a customer who is visibly drunk. Unfortunately, drinking alcohol will reduce the beneficial effects of massage.

-
Drink plenty of room temperature water to reduce soreness the next day.
-
Avoid caffeine and alcohol for a couple of hours after your massage.

It is important to wait at least 24 hours before doing any strenuous exercise.
-
Pay attention to your body’s reaction.

Enjoy the great feeling.
